Funeral services for Mr. Danny Joe Parker will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m., Saturday, February 17.

Mr. Parker was born on January 13, 1956, in Minden, to Bobby Joe and Nedra Parker and died on Thursday, February 15. He had a passion for music, outdoors, grilling and most of all riding his Harley.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dewey Parker and Morris Melton Sr.; and his sister, Lisa Gruner.

He is survived by his grandmothers, Mary Helen Parker and Sibyl Melton; his sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Tommy Logan; brothers, Richard Parker and Robert Parker and fiancé Kelli Ashley; and son Josh Bergeron.

He is also survived by nephews, Dustin Logan, Bo Parker and Braydon Gaston; nieces, Hollie James and husband Jesse, Kellie Thomas and husband Brian, Melissa Gruner, Ashley Gruner and Hannah Parker; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is also survived by his loving dog, April, and very many co-workers, motorcycle buddies and friends.

Pallbearers will be Woody Langwasser, Billy DeSoto, Don Myers, Clifford McFarland, Joe Wimberly, Ronnie Vietch, Lawrence Lewis and Lamar Rentz. Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Baugh.
