Funeral services for Mr. David Alan Triplet, 53, of Minden, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Rose-Neath Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Ichter officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m., today, May 8.

Mr. Triplet was born in Minden and died on May 5, in Minden. He was an electrician for Tucker Electric and had a passion for music, flowers and aircraft.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Russell L. Triplet.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Triplet of Minden; mother, Doris Triplet of Sibley; father, Clyde Triplet and wife Joe Ann of Minden; son, Nathan A. Triplet of Shreveport; step-son, Derek R. Chandler of Arcadia; step-daughter, Heather M. Chandler of Ruston; sister, Stacy T. Garcie of Sibley; brother, Mike Triplet of Minden; one grandchild, Jace Kelan Triplet of Shreveport; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Childress, Steve Forbes, Joe Thomas, Howard Frye, Ron Patton and Douglass McClain.

Honorary pallbearers will be Don Mathews and Danny Walker.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and hospital staff at Feist Weiller Cancer Center, to St. Joseph’s Hospice and a special thanks to Albert Jr. and Martha Tucker and family for their kindness and generosity.
