It was 29 degrees when we left to go on the ride, a chilly morning for Alabama boys, but we had made a commitment to ride to the Eldridge Freewill Baptist Children's Home. It was their annual fundraiser to support the home. The Mechanized Cavalry was not alone on this mission as hundreds of bikers representing at least a dozen clubs were there as well.

We made a good showing of the Flag and Donated over $900 to those children Christmas and care. It was a good day to ride, cold or not.

Our hearty band huddling around the fire in the barrel, (not sure who the guy is in the yankee blue jumpsuit, but Lightening invited him to stand next to us)

Lightening dropping in our donation to the cause (over $900)

Early Morning at Bucky's before we head out
